"Orcas Island is beautiful and the Gnome House is the center of our family vacation memories.  We enjoyed playing family games like Yahtzee and I Spy.  The Jacuzzi was a treat.  We made our own video of the Gnome House with a gnome storyline --- lots of fun! The whole family spent many hours exploring some of your 140 acres.  The land is beautiful with many hidden treasures to discover.  Cedar is a treasure also.  He accompanied us on many of our explorations, and is such a loyal and loving companion.  We will all miss Cedar’s company.  Thank you for the fresh flowers that greeted us upon our arrival.  Your hospitality made us feel at ease, and both of you, Bob and Meg, are great hosts.  We appreciate all that the Gnome House is: a creative, homey, artistic “home base” to explore the host property and finally the friendly island ;Orcas.  The Gnome House was the center hub of all our activities."

"We stayed here at Maggie's Manor/Getaway for 10 days, and had a very relaxing experience.  We imagined we lived in a country home and experienced eating fresh picked zucchini and apples.  We barbecued a freshly caught salmon, courtesy of the Connors. We went into the Jacuzzi each morning to start our day.  We rented videos, Ronna played on the piano, while Evan played golf.  ....The oysters, the salmon, the fresh baked cinnamon rolls and bread and the blackberry pie with ice cream were especially outstanding.  We had time to unwind from city life and had many beautiful quiet moments together.  We communicated especially well because we had time and no stress.  Thanks for providing this lovely spot and all that went with it."

"Meg and Bob, Words cannot even describe the incredible time spent here on Orcas in your home.  We love it and don’t want to leave.  Your generosity and thoughtfulness on Friday to manicure and nurture the property for our very special event for that evening was just wonderful!  We hosted the perfect rehearsal dinner from the front deck through the house and out to the back yard.  Maggie's was so equipped with just anything we needed and that was a godsend!  The view is gorgeous, and we were lucky enough to have a full moon overhead.…..Once again thank you so much for a wonderful vacation home for our family.  We shared memories we’ll never forget."
